I'm Penelope Anne Cole, author of "Magical Matthew." After various positions in Teaching and Tutoring, I now write and review Children's books. A special joy is reading to children to encourage them to read on their own and love literature. I live in Santa Clara, California with my family and our rescued cats and dogs. I enjoy dog walking, reading, gardening, church activities, singing in choir, and watching select TV shows and happy-ending movies. I am a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and a certified Reading Therapist with Read America. I am also on Goodreads, Linked-In and Facebook.
